Smooth shifting derailleur and brake inner wire

There are two types of Galvanized Steel Inner Wire: one is for the inner part of a Bicycle Brake Cable, and the other is for the inner part of a Bicycle Derailleur Cable. They are made from durable spring steel, offering reliability and stability.

The bicycle Brake Cable inner wire is 1x19 strands, with a thickness range from 1.4 to 1.6 mm. It is often made with 6x7, 7x7, or 7x8 heads or drums. This type of inner wire is used for Brake Cables of all kinds, such as V brakes, disc brakes, clipper brakes, or cantilever brakes, and it conducts the pulling force from the brake lever to the brake.

The Derailleur Cable inner wire, also called the shifter cable inner wire, consists of 1x12 strands. Its thickness ranges from 1.1 mm to 1.2 mm, and it is usually made with 4x4 heads or drums. This type of inner wire is used in the shifter cable, which connects the shifter to the front or rear derailleur.
